Especially the one about the El Salvador prison and deporting American citizens. However, as of today, I read that the administration is floating the idea of suspending habeas corpus or the writ of habeas corpus., as of Friday May 9th.
And we don’t want to go on hyperbole or anything of that matter, however, it is a very real situation that may be monitored. I have full assurance that the courts and everyone else will probably say this cannot be done, it’s unconstitutional, etc. It is what the administration will or will not do. I saw an interview on the head of the FBI and it was embarrassing. He knew nothing about his duties, how to carry out the functions of the FBI or anything of that matter.
And now they have selected an attorney general for Washington DC who used to working Westchester County New york, who, by the way, stated in her book when she was processing people for crimes, especially sex related crimes, that this was about retribution, not about justice. She’s willing to go beyond the pale to get a conviction even if it means reversal later on. This is a matter of concern for probably other people too. Not just us. Take care.
